Srishti Gupta, MD, MPP
Dr. Srishti Gupta is a physician-executive with over two decades of leadership across biotech, global health, and strategy consulting, combining public-company CEO experience, McKinsey expertise, and broad board service.
Most recently, she was CEO of Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd (SIX: IDIA), which she was asked to lead after four years on its board. She executed a full turnaround—more than doubling product revenues, raising significant capital, restructuring debt, and restarting global licensing—roughly tripling the company's market capitalization.
During 18 years at McKinsey & Company, she led the Global Health Practice for over a decade, spearheading public-private initiatives in family planning, vaccine access, HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis across four continents.
She serves as Board Director at Santhera Pharmaceuticals (SIX: SANN), Partners In Health and Board Trustee of the International Vaccine Institute (Seoul), with prior service at Idorsia (SIX:IDIA), Invivyd, Inc. (Nasdaq: IVVD), the TB Alliance, and Norrsken Foundation. She holds an A.B., M.D. and M.P.P. from Harvard, with additional graduate degrees from Cambridge and Harvard.
She resides in Basel with her husband and two sons.
